This is a freshwater snail shell that I found near a river in southern Ontario, Canada. I didn't realise how deep the spiral went until I was able to get a macro view of it. It's a beautiful piece of art.

This is one of my favorites! The point/tip of the shell looks see-through, as if it had more to grow. Something you wouldn't be able to see with the naked eye. Perfect!
